ABNORMAL PAP SMEARS

A pap smear is a test that looks for abnormal cell changes in the cervix. An abnormal pap smear means that we have detected some unusual changes in the cells. There are many reasons this can occur, and if you get an abnormal result, we will perform further testing to determine the cause.

DYSFUNCTIONAL UTERINE BLEEDING

DUB, often referred to as abnormal vaginal bleeding, is in many cases caused by hormonal disturbances. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding can be treated. Ask us how we can help.

VAGINAL DISCHARGE

There are multiple causes for vaginal discharge. Certain types of discharge can indicate an infection. Discharge may often have a yellow or green color and typically is accompanied by a foul odor.

MENSTRUAL DYSFUNCTION

Abnormal bleeding is referred to as dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Most menstrual cycles occur every 22 to 35 days. Normal menstrual flow lasts 3 to 7 days, with most blood loss occurring within the first 3 days. If you are experiencing abnormal bleeding, we can help resolve your bleeding discomfort.

MENOPAUSE SYMPTOMS

Menopause is the cessation of menstruation in a women’s life. It typically happens between the ages of 45 to 50 years. Symptoms can include hot flashes, vaginal dryness, sleep disturbances, and more. ENDOMETRIOSIS

Endometriosis is a medical condition that occurs when the lining of the uterus, called the endometrium, grows in other places, such as the fallopian tubes, ovaries or along the pelvis. When that lining breaks down, like the regular lining in the uterus that produces the menstruation, it has nowhere to go.
