Vida Riston AP, CNM, FNP, MSN
Vida Riston, RN, CNM, FNP, MSN has been in practice for over 20 years. She is accomplished in the field in gynecology, obstetrics, family practice, and aesthetics. She holds degrees from Lamar University, New York University Downstate, and the University of Texas Health Science Center. She has multiple advanced certifications in both OB-GYN and Aesthetics, and she is ANCC certified.
Ms. Riston is currently the director and CEO of Center for Women’s Health and Birth Care, La Vue International Laser and Aesthetic Center, and River Oaks Gynecology and Aesthetics.
When not working at her businesses, she is busy with animal rescue and PETA.
Chevelta A. Smith DO
Dr. Chevelta A. Smith is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Navy veteran, pastor, marriage coach, educator, and published author. She is a dynamic and powerful speaker—both medically and spiritually. She touches the lives of many people across the nation through the broadcast ministries of Resurrection Today, TBN, Streaming Faith, and her former radio show, Straight Talk with Dr. Chevelta, featured on Gospel Impact Radio 2013-2014. After the 2015 release of her new book Can I Push? Understanding the Process to Delivering Your Purpose, Dr. Smith was a guest on the national TV shows Cornerstone Television Network (Pittsburgh, Penn.), Neighbor and Friends (Atlanta, Ga.), and the internationally-syndicated LIVE TV talk show, The Harvest Show (South Bend, Ind.).
As an attending physician, Dr. Chevelta has been actively practicing obstetrics and gynecology for almost 10 years. Her area of special gynecological interests includes, but is not limited to, Vulvodynia, a chronic vaginal pain disorder affecting both women and young girls. As a surgeon, she loves performing minimally invasive surgeries, especially using the technology of the daVinci Robot. Dr Smith’s passion to educate is extremely evident through her interactive, role-playing-style of teaching. This passion led Dr. Smith to serve as an assistant professor for the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (SOM). Additionally, she was appointed director of the women’s health module for second-year medical students while employed by Rowan University SOM. Currently, Dr. Chevelta is affiliated with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she serves both residents and medical students as a mentor and lecturer.
Melissa Cordell FNP
Melissa Cordell has been working in the field of aesthetics and cosmetic medicine for over 15 years. Melissa is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Texas Nurse Practitioners. She specializes in cosmetic procedures including Botox, Dysport, Kybella and numerous injectable dermal fillers such as Juvederm, Radiesse, Sculptra, and Restylane. She is a certified professional of all skin rejuvenation and body contouring treatments offered at ROGA, including ThermiRF and Microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP). She is passionate about staying on the cutting edge of technology and honing her expertise through training and continuing education. Aesthetics offers the perfect professional setting for Melissa to blend all her talents and interests: her strong nursing background, her artistic eye, and her ability to work as a partner with her clients to help them achieve their goals. Melissa is also passionate about women’s health promoting well women care and attending to our patients’ various gynecological needs.
Melissa completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After several years of practice in the neurology intensive care unit at Memorial Hermann, she went on to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing degree at the The University of Texas Health Science Center completing the Family Nurse Practitioner Program with Honors. During her career, she has served as a nurse consultant for continuing education and legal matters.
Melissa is an enthusiastic sports mom that often spends her evenings cheering for her three sons at their various sporting events throughout the year.
Max Sprott MD
Dr. Maxie C. Sprott has been in practice for over 25 years. He was a National Merit Scholar and graduated from Yale, New Haven for his undergraduate degree and Meharry University for his doctorate. He finished his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. Sprott is currently on staff at Christus Hospital, First Street Surgical, and Baptist Surgical Center.
When not working, he enjoys his multiple dog and cat rescues and listening to jazz.
Marquita Anderson MD
Dr. Marquita Anderson specializes in women’s health, with expertise in Wellness, GYN surgery, Hormone Replacement Therapy, and Female Rejuvenation.
Originally from Austin, TX, Dr. Anderson completed her undergraduate studies at Xavier University of Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her medical degree in 2010 from University of Texas – Houston Medical School and completed her residency in 2014 at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She had been in private practice since completing residency.
When not taking care of patients, Dr. Anderson, enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. She serves a vital role on the ROGA medical team.
Nicole Dorsey is a Medical Aesthetician that has been in the industry for 18 years.
Her career started out as a Massage therapist and evolved into the world of Aesthetics.
Nicole has been an aesthetician for 7 years. She has completed advanced training in IPL, Body contouring, Derma-plane, Micro needling ,skin rejuvenation, Thermi Smooth and Cool Sculpting. Nicole has a passion for skin care. She spends her free time reading articles about products and skin rejuvenation.
